A few more observations from my first full day in Japan:
More crazy toilet options! This one is from the public restroom at Yodaboshi Electronics. It plays music (well, a flushing sound) to cover up an un-lady-like sounds coming from one’s stall, and it has a “powerful” deodorizer.
Don said there was a sign above the urinals in the men’s room, translated as:
“To our valued customers, an important request: please help us by taking one step forward.”
And Japan is famous for some of its, um, interesting food options, including what my guidebook refers to as “bastardized pizza.” Perhaps this is an example of that:
Pumpkin pizza with red bean paste and marshmallows, anyone?
