D34: Photobooth Fun

After a lovely crepe dinner with my mom’s friend Katie, Don and I wound up in Shibuya last night and took advantage of one of the crazy Tokyo photo booth shops, where Don and I were older than the rest of the clientele by at least a decade, and Don was the only male customer in the shop.

These photo booths are way more tricked out than any photo booth I’ve seen in the US.  There are four pages of options before you take the pictures, and after the photo shoot you go to another booth with a computer and you “doctor” the photos – by adding adorable “hand-drawn” notes and hearts and bows and silly things.  It actually requires quite a bit of photoshop-style skills!

Note the creepy enlarged-eye anime effect in some of these photos.

Yep, same image as above. But I was confident you'd want to see a close up. Who wouldn't?!
